Leviathan Just over three years ago I started BBSing as Santa's Elf. I logged onto my very first BBS and couldn't think of what to call myself; that BBS however wasn't Portunus but Nocturnal Activity... My application note to Halyogen asked if I had called a pornographic BBS by mistake, and this wonderful sysop burst into a caht which continued for over 3hrs well towards 5am... I was hooked and my best friend at the time also started BBSing as Tooth Fairy. It was her who introduced me to Portunus... (even though we no longer speak, if by chance she reads this message, thank you Becky) I've been here three years off and on as of Valentines Day; first as Santa's Elf, then as Serendipity Star and finally as Leviathan for the past five months. Some of the people I've met here have become pretty important to me and ahve even helped me through a few things. Some of the notables off the top of my head include Master Moose, Homer, Fenchurch, Mars, Sex Boy!, Lord British, Wild Man, Professor Tomoe, M98, Alpha Man, Primal and of course Portunus. I didn't met them all in person but all are great people I've had the chance to know purely through BBSing. And there are still others I've gotten to know only recently... But in the past few months the standard here has really slipped. I've tried to put it down to the fact I'm getting older and may be I was THAT bad when i was 16, but I guess Portunus has finally decided for the curtain to fall so he can close a chapter of his life and start a new one..
