Well, I thought i would leave it to the last weekend to write my final piece.,
 and here we are.

I am going to miss PLCBCS - it would have to be one of the best BBS's in
 Auckland, and i would know, for i have been on ... Oh bum, i've only been on
 four! - but who cares, even without knowing the rest, how could it be
 bettered!

Thankyou Ben (if i may call you that), for even though i have never met you,
 you have struck me as an intelligent person, who cares about what he is doing,
 and the people around him.  For why else would you have kept PLCBCS going so
 long.  From my first call, in early 1994, he made me welcome, even though i am
 an oldie!

I'm not going to mention any users by name, but to those i have messaged or
 chatted over the years, enjoy yourself.  It's a great world out there, and you
 can make it what you want if you try.

As probably both the oldest (physically) and longest serving user (now that
 Les seems to have disappeared), I feel I, more than anyone here can comment on
 the ups and downs of PLCBCS.  There have been many highs and lows, but this
 closing will have to be one of the highs - because we are going to make it
 that for Ben - aren't we!

This BBS has been so free and spontaneous, thanks to Ben's openness about
 users.  That in itself, however ,was part of it's downfall, because, in
 letting users have full freeedom, a minority abused that priviledge.  I can
 recall PLCBCS going through similar problems over the years, but soon the
 idiots got bored and left it to the true users - so we have sweet messaging
 for a time, till some little child came along again, but it always bounced
 back - always.  And, in its final moments, it again is proving that it can do
 it again (albeit with a little help from Portunus deleting them  :)    ).

Anyway, I have rambled on enough - Farewell, Kinky Corner (although you never
 were kinky enough for me), farewell Le Cafe (some interesting chats), farewell
 Moon room (not always my type of conversation, but sometimes enlightening) and
 farewell General Messages (you really had me going some times).  and of course
 Private - some good fun was have in here - now that was kinky sometimes!

I am only on one other BBs after Tuesday, so may not see you all again, unless
 we meet on the net, when i get there!
