Mistress 98

hey everyone

for those of you who read this.. (I doubt if it will be many now the end is
near :) here's a few things I wanted to say...

I started calling here in January/February 1997.. I cant remember the exact
 date

I've written 7041 messages (including this one) and will probably write a few
more before Telecom cut the lines.

I've called 1558 times (including this one), same as for previous stat.

I've made lots of friends on here, some of which no longer call any more
and others who do. I'd make a list but my memory is such that I'd
probably forget someone and offend them :)

Anyways, here's some special thanks to a couple of people who've helped The
 Moon Room, my msg base:
- Ben, for setting it up
- Me, for running it (hey, I'm still conceited, I cant help it :)
- Tuxedo Rental and Lord British, for populating the msg base with msgs such
that its the second largest msg - traffic base on the whole board..
- Rectinol Milkshake for the same, although he hasnt been calling as much
recently and for letting us watch his glorious fansubs, which will
  never be forgotten.
- and everyone else.. you know who you are, the people I've talked with, the
people I've argued with, flamed, etc. The weirdos, the sickos, the ordinary
nice people.. I should copy the user list down and make a list. Thats what I
  might do. (see future msg)

One of the most moving moments in television I've seen is at the end of
SailorMoon Sailor Stars, when, after five years on the air and 200 episodes,
the story comes to an end. Tsukino Usagi, our young heroine, repeats the line
she said right back at the beginning. I'd repeat the line, but I want to say
it in Japanese and I cant remember what it was, and my RealVideo clip is too
bad for me to transcribe it.. also, for full effect I'd need to quote my first
message on here, which I (obviously) cant remember. Oh well..

I've posted all this before, but you may want to take the chance to write it
 down again:
